You will work extremely closely with the owner / Director and will be jointly responsible for -

- Design leadership and management

- Client relations and business development

- Support to junior staff and team management

About the Role

This studio has two really strong Directors who are both still heavily involved in the design process / involved in projects. They also have a really strong senior team, and they are looking for a mid level designer to work alongside this team, assisting / contributing on very design focussed UK projects.

About You

We are looking for someone with 2-5 years experience, someone with really strong design skills and ambition to deliver excellent quality work. You will also want to work on UK projects, (mostly London), working alongside some of the UK’s leading Architects. This is an opportunity to work on and deliver exceptional work.

This is a role that will require a minimum of 7 years Urban Design experience. You will help lead and manage complex projects in a range of sectors including residential and commercial development.

About the Role

This is a role that will require a minimum of 7 years Urban Design experience. You will help lead and manage complex projects in a range of sectors including residential and commercial development. You will also help manage a junior team. This is also a client-facing role and you will enjoy working independently with confidence.

This company offer flexi-working options, and 3 days a week away from the office can be accommodated.

About the Role

As a member of one of the UK’s largest and most diverse landscape practices, you will be involved in a range of large-scale projects, including strategic planning, major infrastructure, urban regeneration and environmental enhancement schemes. 
We are looking for a team player who wishes to assist in the development of innovative, cost effective and buildable solutions in an environment that is collaborative, stimulating and challenging. 

The role would suit a self-motivated individual looking to advance their career in a dynamic team.
The team provides services ranging from feasibility and landscape planning studies, design and landscape and visual impact assessments and detailed design through to construction supervision and landscape management.

About You

The appropriate level of technical expertise is required in order that the job / project accountabilities listed below can be carried out to the necessary standard:

  • Produce or oversee the production of drawings, written reports and other technical documentation using appropriate software, with the necessary level of detail as required at various stages of development: strategies, conceptual design, detailed design and production information.
  • Contribute to securing and delivering new work.
  • Coaching and development of Graduate and Consultant level team members.
  • Working as a Project Manager, with project management responsibilities, including contractual, financial and programme management.
  • Establishing strong working relationships with other members of the landscape team and internal teams across the business.
